Principal Barry Mathis will share insights about cybersecurity during the Nebraska Hospital Association 97th Annual Convention in LaVista, NE, Oct. 16-18, 2024. The convention brings together healthcare professionals from across the state to collaborate and learn about issues and innovations that shape today’s healthcare environment.
On Oct. 17, Mathis will present, “Navigating the Changing Cybersecurity Landscape.” The presentation will highlight recent guidance and regulations intended to increase accountability and decrease “where do I start” concerns relating to cybersecurity and the protection of personal and protected healthcare data. Participants will receive an update on changes to existing cybersecurity guidelines and be introduced to new federal and state guidelines and requirements.
